Important timing note: For 1-day expedited orders, you must submit all logos and images within 1 hour of order placement to ensure we can meet your deadline.

If you don't have the required images, we'll search online for the best available matches, but we cannot guarantee accuracy or quality when sourcing images independently.

Q: I don't have my unit logo in digital format. Can you help?

A: While we can attempt to locate unit logos online, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or resolution quality of images we source independently. For the best results, we recommend:

  • Contacting your unit's administrative office for official digital logos
  • Scanning physical logos at 300 DPI or higher
  • Taking high-quality photos of logos in good lighting conditions

Remember, you're responsible for providing accurate logos, ranks, and ratings. If incorrect information is provided and we create the item as specified, any remake will be charged at 50% of the original price.

Military Rank and Rating Specifications

Q: How do I specify military ranks and ratings for my custom piece?

A: Please provide the exact rank/rating as it should appear on your gift, including:

  • Full rank name (e.g., "Staff Sergeant" not "SSG")
  • Correct spelling of recipient's name
  • Proper unit designation and any specific formatting requirements
  • Service branch specifications

Submit this information via email to ignitethegrain@gmail.com with your order number in the subject line immediately after ordering. For 1-day orders, all specifications must be provided within 1 hour.

Q: Can you verify if I have the correct rank insignia for my service branch?

A: While we have experience with military customs, you are responsible for providing accurate rank and rating information. We recommend double-checking with the recipient's unit or referring to official military resources to ensure accuracy before submitting your order.

Lead Times and Production Options

Q: What are your lead times for different products?

A: Our standard production times are:

  • Plaques: 14 days (standard), with expedited options for 7, 5, or 1 day at additional cost
  • Apparel & 3D Prints: Up to 7 business days

Important: Expedited production means your order ships within the selected timeframe, not that it arrives within that time. Shipping time is additional and depends on your chosen shipping method.

Q: What does "1-day production" actually mean?

A: 1-day production means we complete and ship your order within 24 hours of order placement. This requires:

  • All logos and specifications submitted within 1 hour of ordering
  • No changes allowed after order placement
  • Additional expedited production fees
  • Expedited shipping recommended (UPS preferred over USPS for speed)

Design Proofs and Color Matching

Q: Can I see a preview of my custom piece before production?

A: Design proofs are available upon request but must be specifically requested when placing your order or immediately after via email. Please note that requesting proofs may extend your production timeline, especially for expedited orders.

Q: Will the colors on my finished piece match what I see on my screen?

A: We cannot guarantee exact color matches due to differences in screen calibrations and monitor settings. We make every effort to match colors as closely as possible to your provided images, but slight variations may occur. This is a standard limitation across the custom printing industry.

Order Changes and Policies

Q: Can I make changes to my order after placing it?

A: Order changes are accepted within 24 hours of order placement only. After 24 hours, no changes can be made. For 1-day expedited orders, absolutely no changes are allowed once the order is placed.

Q: What happens if there's an issue with my delivered order?

A: For damaged items, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos for replacement consideration. After 24 hours of delivered status, we cannot offer remakes or refunds.

If we create an item with incorrect information that you provided (wrong logos, ranks, or ratings), any remake will be charged at 50% of the original price.
